Conditions of Guarantee:
Any claim for a replacement puppy for genetic medical reasons must be supported by a
veterinarian report, and is conditional on the Dog having been kept on regular vaccinations,
worming and a proper feeding program. Unfortunately, the Seller cannot guarantee the
Dog, if the Buyer does not follow basic care instructions or use common sense (such as
taking a puppy that is not fully vaccinated out in public, letting a dog off leash without
proper training and an accident occurs).
While the Dog is guaranteed for a one year period, the guarantee is for a replacement,
however, the Seller cannot guarantee the same gender, color, markings or pedigree.
The Buyer agrees to keep the Seller informed of his/her address, email and telephone
number as protection for the dog in case it is lost or stolen, to assist in its recovery and
return.

Disposal of the Hound:
While the Buyer has ownership of the Dog, the Buyer is not allowed to dispose of the Dog
to a third party without written permission from the Seller. The signature of the Buyer
represents his/her acknowledgement that this is a right of refusal contract; if the Buyer can
no longer keep the dog named in this contract, the Buyer must return said dog, with papers
signed off, to the Seller so that a new home can be found. There is no age limitation to this
clause and no cash value (see "Conditions of accepting a dog back").
The Dog is not to be euthanized without permission from and consultation with the Seller
unless in the opinion of a veterinarian there is a medical emergency in which no other
option is possible. This clause is to provide whatever help based on knowledge of the breed
might be available and to prevent the euthanasia for disposal of the dog for non medical
reasons. In the event of the owner's death and no spouse/partner to care for the dog, the
dog is to be returned (at the Estate's expense) to the Hounds of Freckashpeng and not be
placed as part of the owners Estate nor given/placed to/with a third party without written
consent from the Hounds of Freckashpeng.

Penalty clause:
There is up to a $10,000.00 penalty clause for anyone buying a hound from the Hounds of
Freckashpeng and abandoning it in an animal shelter without permitting the Seller to
exercise the use of the right of refusal option.

Conditions of accepting a puppy/dog back:
A condition of accepting Dog back is that the Dog is returned in good condition and health,
with all vaccines including rabies, CKC papers signed off, including the line at the bottom of
the certificate where the papers are to be sent directly to the new owner (also see refund).
If the Buyer knows of someone willing to take the Dog, the Buyer can refer them to the
Seller and the same adoption process will be applied, if the Seller accepts them as new
owners, the Dog can then be transfer to them.

Refund:
There is a ten day cool off period for anyone purchasing a Dog from the Hounds of
Freckashpeng, meaning if the Buyer wants to return the Dog for whatever reason, the
Buyer may do so and a refund will be given, less the $200 non-refundable deposit*. Between
day 11 and 30 we will refund 50% of the purchase price less the $200 non-refundable
deposit*, after 30 days we will purchase the puppy back for $2.00 (the buyer must sign off
on CKC paperwork at the time of return).

Shipping:
Shipping costs at the time of purchase and/or refund are the responsibility of the Buyer.

CKC Papers: To be sent to the Buyer after proof of spay/neuter has been received by the
Seller.

Microchip information: Microchip will be in the new owners name as well as in the name of
the Seller as second contact.

Final agreement:
The Seller expects Buyers of young puppies to be prepared for challenges of puppy care
and they should not use these as reasons for the return of a puppy. By signing below you
agree to the terms of this contact and agree to be responsible for housetraining. You have
read and understood the items in the contract, and you also acknowledge that you are not
under duress or coercion while signing this contract.

Failure of Buyer to comply with the above contract entitles Sellers to punitive damages in
the amount of $5,0000.00, as well as court costs, and return of Dog to Seller(s). All
proceedings to take place in Ottawa, Ontario, or current city of residence of Seller(s).
